If you like getting close, as in really close, to your subject, you might want to consider this super macro lens that will turn your digital SLR into a virtual microscope. Developed by an Austrian company called Micro Tech Lab, the 40mm LM DSLR Macro lens screws into your existing lens, enabling you to take extreme close-ups with a linear magnification of 6.25x. The one catch is that it only works with lenses with a focal length of 20mm-90mm and you may need an additional filter. But if zeroing in for a creepy shot of a bug's eye or the delicate seed head of a dandelion is your thing, than this lens is definitely worth checking out.
