Java mp3 player - KD Player v0.5.5

I found this at a Russian site. It is a Java based mp3 player called KD Player v0.5.5. It seems to have a lot of features like support for ID3 tags and creating and editing mp3 files. It is still in development so it could be a bit buggy. It should work in all Java enabled phones (was tested on Sony Ericsson W810, K800, Z710/Nokia Series40/5300). Unfortunately the program is in Russian. Maybe the author will make an English version in the future.

2 days ago Motorola announced that there will be a MOTOKRZR K1 Gold Edition. It will be launched during the Mother's Day period in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. The phone will be in limited quantities and buyers will receive special bonuses and gifts. The phone looks good, even better than the computer pics.

Hands on video preview of the MOTORIZR Z8

A bit old but this is the longest clip that I have stumbled across. The Z8 is the first non touchscreen UIQ phone and is curved when it is open. The UI is indeed really fast. I am impressed.

Motorola MOTORIZR Z8 live pics

The is the first non touchscreen based UIQ 3.1 phone. We have seen many computer images of this phone, by chance I stumbled upon these pics. This phone slides and the phone kind of curves as well (like a banana) when it's open. This phone looks quite nice, even better than in the pics. Finally I am seeing something different in Motorola's designs. According to carphonewarehouse it is supposed to be available soon. I am curious to see this phone's OS in action.

Motorola MOTORIZR Z8 available soon

This is found in the carphonewarehouse's site under coming soon. The MOTORIZR Z8 is a triband HSDPA slider phone (banana style) with a 2 mega pixel camera and most importantly Symbian OS 9.2 with UIQ 3.1. This is the first non touch screen UIQ phone. It says it will be available at the end of April. I wonder if it's true.

Mysterious Motorola phone

Not much info on this phone. It popped up over in Taiwan and is styled like those classic Motorola phones. It is supports CDMA and supposedly has a 20 day stand by time.

Motorola's Mothers Day campaign

Motorola announced their Mothers Day campaign in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Between the 10th t0 18th of May, whoever puchases the MOTOKRZR K1, MOTORAZR maxx V3, MOTORIZR Z3, MOTORAZR V3i, MOTORAZR V3, MOTORAZR V3i D&G, W220 or W375 and a few more designated models, will receive limited special edition gifts. Motorola will also be holding a special Mothers Day event and buyers (of designated models) will receive gift vouchers (for jewelery - gold/diamonds). A K1 gold version will also be launched. I personally prefer Nokia's Mothers Day campaign.

More live pics of Motorola's latest phones

I have posted tons of pics from gophone of the RAZR Maxx V1100, KRZR Maxx K3, W510 and SLVRL72. Here is another good pic gallery from phonedaily. I must say that the MOTO style hasn't really changed in my eyes for quite a while and all the clamshell share some strong resemblences (it's getting a bit boring for me). Enjoy the pics!

Motorola MOTORAZR Maxx V1100 live pics

This is a brand new HSDPA clamshell with 1.3 mega pixel camera and another VGA cam for video calls. The phone also features stereo bluetooth and mediaplayer can be minimized to the background. The phone has cool red glowing buttons to control the music when the clamshell is closed. The speaker is located at the bottom part of the phone and is supposed to be of really good quality (looks like the speaker takes up alot of space so it should be good). The phone has a weird shape (the phone closed looks like it has a hump at the top) but I like how it looks overall and I also like the color theme (reminds me of the color theme of the SE P700). Check out the pics of the SLVR L72, Maxx KRZR K3 and W510. More pics at gophone.

Motorola L72 live pics

This is a new SLVR series phone and successor to the L7. It is a metal styled candybar and is only 11.5 mm thick. The phone features a new CrystalTalk noise filtering function to maintain a clear call (sounds neat). The phone has a 2 mega pixel camera (with no AF and no leds),microSD card support, bluetooth stereo and FM radio. The cam interface can be used in landscape or portrait (nice touch). I never really liked the SLVR series of phones and this is no exception. It is just ok. Check out the RAZR Maxx V1100, KRZR Maxx K3 and W510 pics. More pics at gophone.
