Kodak Easyshare Z700 4MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom Specifications

The Kodak EasyShare Z700 4.0 MP digital camera features 5x optical zoom for tighter shots and the Kodak Color Science chip for richer, more accurate flesh tones.

Kodak Retinar All-glass Aspheric 5x Optical Zoom Lens
You'll be able to capture images in crisp detail with the Z700's all-glass lens, and get amazingly close to your subjects with the 5x optical zoom (35mm equivalent of a 35-175mm zoom).

The Kodak Color Science chip collects scene data to identify and adjust factors that influence picture quality.

Exclusive Kodak Color Science Image Processing Chip
With the exclusive Kodak Color Science image processing chip, your pictures come to life just the way you remember them. A new high-speed digital processor chip, advanced algorithms, and hardware acceleration features let the Z700 make simultaneous, split-second decisions to produce rich, vibrant, true-to-life colors in almost any lighting situation.

Each time you click the shutter, the Kodak Color Science chip performs an instantaneous and advanced analysis of collected scene data to identify and adjust multiple factors that influence picture quality. The scene light source is detected, and adjustments are made to capture bright whites and true, vivid colors under difficult lighting conditions--fluorescent, tungsten, or daylight. Scene content is analyzed for luminance, focal distance, subject-matter orientation, and color to determine the correct exposure and capture the natural details, accurate flesh tones, and rich colors you see in your composition.

The Kodak EasyShare Z700's 1.6-inch indoor-outdoor display is easy to view, even in direct light.

Kodak EasyShare DX6440 4MP Digital Camera w/ 4x Optical Zoom and Dock

Kodak EasyShare DX6440 4MP Digital Camera w/ 4x Optical Zoom and Dock Review

I happened to see this while I was browsing for accessories. I can't believe it is still available. I bought mine back in, I think Spring '04. I'd had an older digital and it was time to upgrade. After much searching and reading, I settled on this camera. I have not been disappointed. Even though it is 4 megapixels and I have it set down to about 3.2, I get beautiful, clear, sharp pictures-still. The difference I have found is in the lens. The German made Schneider, Kreuznach lens (not sure of the sp here)makes a world of difference in the picture quality. I've looked at newer camera's (more megapixels) and of course noted the lens type, but to tell you the truth, this little 6440 gets such great quality I can't quite justify getting a new one.
Even on it's normal auto setting I am able to catch action shots of my granddaughter sliding and swinging, even water mid-air. I haven't even bothered with the action setting.
The only complaint I have, and it really doesn't qualify as one, is the telephoto shots are blurred- I get around that when editing in zooming and cropping, and when I take several shots in a row (not needing burst) the shutter speed slows down. A good choice still for a point and shooter and for great vacation pics.
2008--I still have this camera although I have looked at newer models with higher megapixels. I worked out the telephoto thing, I have to hold still, and then it usually turns out clear and sharp. In comparing it with the newer models this camera is still outstanding. Just on auto it takes crystal clear, sharp and detailed action shots. I recently went to a Pow Wow and caught beautiful action shots of the dancing, everyone commented on how professional they looked, like a postcard. And I'm no photographer. And the color it captures is wonderful. I friends and relatives who have picked up I think the Z1012, and mine is better. So other than he low pixels not making good enlargements, I'm not giving it up.

Kodak EasyShare Z760 6.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom

Kodak EasyShare Z760 6.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom Review

I love this camera! This is my second Z760; I bought it as a back up just in case something happened to my original. Now I'm using both. I shoot a lot of outdoor pictures, mostly wildlife, and the 3x zoom is ideal in shaded areas where I take most pictures. Anything more would require more light & set off the flash, which would scare wildlife. It has a viewfinder which is also necessary when shooting wildlife. Many of the newer cameras no longer have viewfinders. Kodak Easy Share Cameras are very user friendly....it has many diffrent settings, plus video capability yet is very easy to use. I use the dock to recharge the battery & to download pictures to my computer (piece of cake). I was lucky to get a hard case with both my Z760's which is good protection for the camera. The camera (in it's case) is small enough to carry in my purse or in a coat pocket but it is not too dainty to hold firmly. I've had my original Z760 for several years & I'm still using the original battery. I set it on the dock & recharge it daily. Best of all....it takes GREAT pictures! Kodak EasyShare M575 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Zoom and 3.0 Inch LCD (Forest Green)

Kodak EasyShare M575 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Zoom and 3.0 Inch LCD (Forest Green) Review

My 10 year old grandson requested this particular camera for his birthday. His cousin has one and he was impressed with hers. He loves it and has had no trouble using it. I gave it 4 stars since I have not used it and he lives out of state. He would have given it 5 stars I am sure. My experience with many items I have purchased through Amazon has been very good and I give Amazon 5 stars.

Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera (Silver)

Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera (Silver) Review

It is a little camera. I bought it after owning another Kodak Easy Share camera for several years. And 'much smaller than the old camera, beauty and the screen is much bigger on the back, which is great! I love the fact that it is very easy to change camera settings for the type of image you are adjusting. All you have to do is turn the knob and "poof" you are for action shots or video, or whatever you set! There are only two problemsI will use this camera ... The battery does not last! I also bought the most expensive "Ultra advanced batteries and does not seem to make a difference. The other problem is that if you have a video record and play to the camera, there is no sound. The sound is there when you load on a computer but not on the same camera on the whole I would give this camera a "thumbs up".
