Nokia 6111 disassembly video tutorial

This is about 8 minutes long and has clear instructions. I actually watched the whole clip eventhough I don't plan on opening a 6110 up. It was interesting for me. I would love to see a clip like this starring the Nokia N95.

6x optical zoom for Nokia N95

This is from the makers that also brought us the 6x zoom for the MOTORAZR as well as other brands. This gizmo is being sold over at Ebay for only 17.99$ US not including shipping. Here is the product description:

This contraption is for people who are dying for 6x optical zoom for their N95. I find it too troublesome and huge to use. I wouldn't be bothered to carry it around.

Live pics of CECT I-70 : the Vertu clone

The maker of this phone says this is the luxury phone for the common people. Vertu is known for it's extremely high price and this clone cost way less. It is called Veptu instead of Vertu and has the name of CECT I-70. The battery cover is extra shiny and can be used as a mirror. It tries to mimic the real Vertu with a gold housing which unfortunately feels like plastic. The phone makes use of fake leather. The phone features a 2 mega pixel camera. The phone in all is a good copy of the real deal and will fool people as long as you keep a safe distance away and cover the "p" in Veptu when talking on the phone. Oh and it comes in a nice box. Nokia E90 gets reviewed by mobile-review

Finally we have a E90 review from Eldar over at mobile-review. As usual his reviews are very in depth and detailed. We need to translate it with the help of Google or Babelfish though, since only the Russian version is up. This is definitely worth checking out. New Nokia 8600 luna live pics

Thanks to darlamac we have more pics of the new Nokia 8600. Well I guess this is almost final. It looks like the previous live pics, the computer pic and FCC approved the phone just recently. Now we just need an announcement from Nokia.

Nokia 6110 Navigator live pics in both colors

The Nokia 6110 Navigator is Nokia's GPS phone. It is targeted for people who require GPS capabilities. It is a HSDPA slider with a 2 mega pixel camera and powered by S60 3rd edition. It is only 2 cm thick. The phone uses glossy plastic in both versions. I am really liking the white version just like the 6120 classic in white. The GPS UI looks nice and easy to use. Nokia 6300 gold edition

A few days ago I posted about the exclusive luxury Motorola V3i with gold and diamonds by Peter Alloison. Now he brings us the Nokia 6300 in 24 carat gold. When I first saw the pics, I thought it was an official version by Nokia. The phone looks great for people and competes with the 8800 Sirocco Gold just recently announced by Nokia. Tons of Nokia 5700 pics in both colors

In case you have missed these pics, there is this huge pic gallery over at mobile01 (although I recommend checking out those previous pics). This pic gallery stars both the red/white version and the black/white version (first time I am seeing this black/white version). The gallery shows both phones side by side, pics of the UI and pics from the camera. This is definitely worth checking out. I like the white/black version alot more than the white/red. Pics might take a bit to load, if you have a slow connection. Enjoy!

Java mp3 player - KD Player v0.5.5

I found this at a Russian site. It is a Java based mp3 player called KD Player v0.5.5. It seems to have a lot of features like support for ID3 tags and creating and editing mp3 files. It is still in development so it could be a bit buggy. It should work in all Java enabled phones (was tested on Sony Ericsson W810, K800, Z710/Nokia Series40/5300). Unfortunately the program is in Russian. Maybe the author will make an English version in the future.

Another Nokia N95 clone and it's a slider this time

Well, here it is guys. The N95 clone that actually looks almost like the real thing (at least from the front). It comes in silver/plum like the real N95. It is even a slider unlike the previous clones I have posted which were candybars. It is a dual band phone featuring a 2.4 inch 260k color QVGA touchscreen, 1.3 mega pixel camera (boo!) and comes with 128 MB internal memory and supports microSD cards. The phone measures 5.6x2x11.8 cm and weighs 106 grams. The back looks nothing like the real N95 and is even quite ugly. It does seem to have on e huge speaker in the back and another one in the front above the screen (where there is a cam on the real N95). This phone is called CECT N95 (hahaha!). Check out these other Nokia N95 clone. the first N95 clone and the 5 mega pixel N95 clone. Now imagine combining the best from all these clones...we would actually get a good device.

Well it is kinda of available. To be exact you can pre-order it from this website. Here is the site's product description:

Wonder if it really available soon or is the site trying to make a quick buck. Hey there were real pics that might have been this phone, it was shown accidentally on carphonewarehouse (but removed) and the FCC have approved this phone just recently.

Nokia N70 clone gets reviewed

I can't believe it. Someone buying this clone I can believe but someone taking the time to do an in depth review is just hard for me to believe. Well I better believe it since mobil.cz did an in depth review of the phone. I have posted a N70 clone in the past. I guess this is the same phone but in black...music edition...hehe. Unfortunately the site is in Czech so I don't understand a word. It's worth visiting nevertheless. There are lots of pics of the phone, the UI and some pics from the cam. The phone looks alright since it is all black. It also seems to have an ok UI as well (trying to copy S60).
