Olympus to launch its high-end digital camera supporting 20x optical zoom

Olympus expects to launch its high-end digital camera 'SP-565UZ' in Japan market, which is equipped with 10M CCD sensor with a 20x optical zoom lens.

Adopting a 2.5-inch 230,000-pixel LCD screen, the SP-565UZ supports up to ISO 1600, xD memory card and microSD card. Measuring 116*80.8*83.3mm at 373g, it will be available in Japan market on September 26th.

Meanwhile, it is planned to be released in Korea market for around 400,000(KRW).
