Optical filter maker Tiffen has made its digital filter software available as a free trial download.
The fully-featured version of Tiffen Dfx gives photographers access to up to '1,000 filters', including 'virtually the full range of Tiffen glass effects filters,' says the firm.
The boxed, stand-alone 'Select' edition costs �66.99, while the 'Complete' plug-in for Adobe Photoshop edition costs �198.99.
Photographic filter effects include Neutral Density Grads, Polariser and 'Ultra Contrast' � the latter controlling shadow detail in bright conditions, for example.
