Manila, Philippines (AHN) - The recall of Canon cameras doesn't include cameras sold in the Philippines. The local Canon distributor will not pull off the shelves all Canon EOS-1D Mark III cameras sold in the Philippines.
The Philippine subsidiary of the camera manufacturer, Canon Marketing (Philippines) Inc., said in a statement only cameras with serial numbers between 501001 and 546561 have auto-focus mirror adjustment issues.
None of these are sold in Philippine outlets.
"The EOS-1D Mark III units launched in the Philippines last year and are being sold in the local DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) market are not included in the recall," the statement read, as reported by Inquirer.net.
