Olympus new flagship E-3 DSLR combines with the new Zuiko Digital Specific SWD 12-60mm (24-120mm equivalent) lens to deliver the worlds fastest autofocus technology.
Housed in a weatherproof, magnesium alloy chassis, the camera boasts full-time Live View and Dust Reduction technologies, as well as mechanical image stabilization. It comes equipped with a 10 MP Live MOS image sensor, and can be complemented by, in addition to the aforementioned ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD lens ($1,099.99), the ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD ($1,049.99), which focuses twice as fast as the previous Zuiko Digital lens with that focal length; and the ED 14-35mm f2.0 SWD ($2,599.99), which joins the existing 35-100mm f2.0 as the brightest fixed aperture lenses in their class.
The 2.5 Live View dual-axis HyperCrystal LCD swivels side to side and up and down for taking typically hard-to-compose shots from varying angles. Users can also monitor data like white balance and exposure in real-time. The large optical viewfinder provides 1.15x magnification for easy composition.
