Fujifilm's infrared-friendly DSLR, the IS Pro, now has enhanced ability to capture and appropriately process TIFF fingerprint images in-camera, thanks to a just-announced firmware update. The IS Pro is being marketed to forensic and criminal investigation organizations.

Much of the fingerprint tracing community requires in-camera TIFF image processing. Therefore we are pleased to announce that Fujifilm IS Pro now offers a firmware update (Ver.1.00 to Ver.1.01) which incorporates the following improvements:
