I had a meeting with Canon at the PhotoPlus Expo today. They showed me the new 21-megapixel EOS-1Ds Mark III pro DSLR and told me a little more about it. The meeting was short but I did get to play with the camera a bit and since Ive been using the EOS-1D Mark III I was already familiar with a lot of the features and functionality.
Basically, the EOS-1Ds Mark III is a 1D Mark III with a 21-megapixel full-frame sensor with a bigger brighter viewfinder, larger buffer, UDMA CompactFlash compatibility, and the new sRAW format for multiple RAW resolution options.
