Question from lawyer187: Well I bought this Cannon PowerShot S3 IS camera for my wife, and she went crazy over it , but no more then 3 weeks and she's having problems with it, when she tried using it this morning, the screen went dark and a message said "lens error, restart camera" but I don't know how to restart it.
Answer from bukit97: Usually turning the camera off and on again will restart it.
If you are desperate, take out the batteries and put it back again, press the ' on/off ' button and it will restart.
I would suggest you change to a set of fully charged batteries before you do that. If that is not available, a set of new alkaline batteries will do as a temporary measure.
If that does not work, you probably has to claim your free service from Canon since it is only 3 weeks old.
